Koko Brandao, painter, native to Brazil and based in Lakeland Fl, has her strongest expression in the presence of the human figure in her works. Graduated in Arts Education, and made the Brasilian folklore the focus of her art. In acrylic on canvas, she shows the simplicity of the human figure. Gestures and movements are striking features in the different phases of her career. Today, the human figures are portrayed expanded in size with a blend of rich colors, revealing all the joy and harmony; a subtle play of light, shadow and volume, and giving the impression that they are projected out of the canvas. Working professionally since 2002, Koko Brandao is in partnership with galleries and Florida Arts Festivals .
